1. Java Edition: This is the original version of Minecraft, developed by Mojang Studios for the Java platform. It's available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and offers the most flexibility and customization through mods and custom servers.



2. Bedrock Edition: This version of Minecraft was developed for cross-platform compatibility and is available for Windows 10, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. It allows players on different devices to play together.



3. Legacy Console Edition: This version of Minecraft was developed for older generation consoles such as Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PlayStation Vita. It's no longer being updated.
